it's a new day, let's try a new way...

Hello everyone --

It's almost spring and I can't wait to check out some new markets, both antique and crafts. There's one in northern Illinois that I hope to go to in April at Grayslake and another
in St. Charles. Lots of new project ideas to get started on.
I've moved to a new apt. I lived in a house with and took care of mom for the last 12 years. She passed away in July last year and since then I have been trying to fill up all the emptiness that I feel in my life. I miss her terribly, but I have to move on and figure out who I am now. At 60 that's not an easy thing to do. Life goes on...

my first thoughts

This blogging thing is not as easy as lots of folks make it seem - it takes a lot to think of interesting things to say and share.

I'm so fascinated with all the crowns that I see on other blogs - made of paper, wire, felt, etc. They are lovely and it inspires me to make something wonderful - maybe with paper mache like we did in 5th grade (only better I hope).

I have lots of thoughts of spring and the wonderful warm weather and being outside in the garden. I'm counting the days...

I love to have tea parties and I dream of scones and lemon curd and cream tea and laughter!
